We are excited to serve your teenager at Camp Perea this summer. It is going to be one of the best weeks of their life as they are surrounded by the outdoors and adults who love them. As soon as you register we start praying for your teenager by name. You can expect your teenager to come home to you healthy, safe, and tired. This page serves as your main source of information regarding all you need to know about Camp Perea. You will also recieve more details once your teenager has registered for camp.
If you have questions that are not answered please call or e mail us: info@PereaMinistries.org or 406.381.2793.
406.626.2446 and 406.381.2793.
We ask campers to leave their cell phones at home as we find them to be a huge distraction from what goes on at camp. The numbers above can be used before or during camp. In addition, we have a satallite phone available for any camp emergencies.

There are two ways to register for Camp Perea: Online through this link; and the paper approach which you can download here. You can find all of the forms you need to fill out here. The "Health Care and Accident Insurance Camper Registration" is a significant form that we need to help ensure your son/daughter’s well-being during their time at camp. It includes emergency contact information, health and medical related information, gives your permission to participate, and gives your consent for medical treatment. This form must be filled out in full for your teenager to participate.
All medications must be sent in the original container with the original label. In an effort to reduce the number of medications that a child needs to bring, Camp Perea stocks many common “over the counter” medications (Tylenol, Benadryl, Cough & Cold remedies, etc). Help us reduce the amount of vitamins and drugs to administer, by sending only what is essential. If your son/daughter has a medication that needs to be with them at all times (bee sting kit, inhaler, etc.) please provide a fanny pack for your child and inform our staff of the medication.
A wilderness first responder (WFR) is on location at all times while camp is in session. They are responsible for the first aid at camp and inform counseling staff of health related issues. Numerous staff members are trained in CPR, First Aid, and life guarding. We will be camping in the wilderness which limits immediate access to emergency response units, but our staff has the training needed to care for injuries in the back country.
The camp carries a limited accident insurance. If your child needs treatment and you have insurance, your coverage will be applied first.
Please look carefully over the packing list as it covers most items. Camp Perea is a Christian summer camp and we ask that all clothing is modest and appropriate. We also request that MP3 players, cell phones, video players and fireworks be left at home. They tend to just be a distraction while at camp and we can not guarentee their safety, it's just better to leave them at home. Camp Perea does have a limited amount of equipment that can be borrowed on a first come first served basis. Please contact us if your camper needs to borrow any outdoor gear.
This information will be e mailed or mailed to you once you register.
